COMPUTERS
There are three generally recognized categories of computer systems. The members of the largest and most powerful class are known as mainframe computers. They have very large storage capacities, very fast processing speeds, and support large numbers of users simultaneously. Mainframes are expensive and generally are used by businesses, universities, and governments for large-scale processing tasks. The most powerful and fastest mainframes are called supercomputers.
